Our Story

I’m not the founder of Lake Mountain Cabin. I own it now, but I didn’t start it.

And when I found it, I wasn’t even looking to buy a website. I was hoping to buy or build a log cabin.

This website came up in my various internet searches when I was researching log cabins. I liked the site and what it had to say.

But I also thought it could be better.

See, I’m a longtime lover of log cabins. But my professional background is in writing and creating websites. I also love doing that.

So, I saw an opportunity. I could acquire this established website about log cabins and improve it with my writing and website skills.

I could help others who, like me, are on their journey to build, buy, or just learn more about log cabins.

So I reached out to the owner. And we reached an agreement.

Since then, I’ve focused on publishing new articles that cover a wide variety of topics related to log cabins. I’m really enjoying both sharing my knowledge and learning more in the process of writing these articles.

Looking forward, I plan to keep writing about log cabins. And I hope to become a go-to resource for the log cabin community. That’s what I’ll be working toward, and I hope you’ll join me.
